Malformation

It is done in the 5th month that is between 18-22 weeks. It is done to look for any fetalabnormalities as bythistime almost all the organs of baby are formed. Every Parents should go for malformation scan as every one wants the assurance that the baby is normal. 

It is specially indicated in high-risk pregnancies, elderly patients (age above 30), Diabetes, Previous abnormal babies, family H/O fetal abnormality.
